When the rated tension of the drawworks is greater than 125KN, a rope guide shall be set. At least 3~5 turns of wire rope shall be reserved on the drum, and the end of wire rope shall be fixed reliably. The distance from the outer side of the drum to the outermost steel wire rope shall not be less than 1.5 times of the diameter of the steel wire rope. During operation, no one shall cross the winch steel wire rope under operation.

The winch driver shall take the post with professional training and certificate, and shall concentrate during operation. If any obstacle is found in the sight, it shall be removed in time, and shall not operate when the signal is unclear. Idling shall be carried out before operation to confirm that the electrical, braking and environmental conditions are in good condition before operation. The operator shall have a detailed understanding of the main content and workload of the shift operation.
