Generally, the fuel for large kilns is mostly heavy oil, light diesel oil, or gas, natural gas. Kiln is usually composed of four parts: kiln chamber, combustion equipment, ventilation equipment, and conveying equipment. Electric kilns mostly use electric furnace wires, silicon carbide rods, or molybdenum disilicide as heating elements, with a relatively simple structure and convenient operation, as well as various atmosphere kilns. In specific industries, there are more subdivided types of kilns, such as cement rotary kilns, glass tank kilns, steel blast furnaces, and converters. Some equipment in the chemical industry can also be classified as kilns. However, in the general sense, industrial kilns mainly refer to the calcination equipment for metal and inorganic materials.
