Welcome!
Regularly replacing the oil filter is an important part of car maintenance. As the engine oil is continuously circulated in the engine, impurities will gradually accumulate and block the filter element, resulting in a decrease in the fluidity and lubrication performance of the oil. If the oil filter is not replaced in a timely manner, these pollutants may enter key components of the engine, such as bearings, pistons, and cylinder walls, leading to increased wear, decreased performance, and even malfunctions.
The oil filter element is located in the engine lubrication system, and its main function is to filter harmful substances such as impurities, metal debris, sludge, and carbon deposits in the engine oil, ensuring the cleanliness of the engine oil. When the engine oil circulates inside the engine, it passes through the oil filter element. The filter paper or mesh inside the filter element can block these pollutants, allowing only clean oil to pass through and continue to provide lubrication and cooling for various engine components.
