3.Characteristics: Colorless,white sextant or rhombic crystal or granule powder.Relative density 2.6682,melting pinte 1069 ℃ ,boiling point 1689 ℃ .It is easily dissolved in water,the aqueous solution is in the state of alkalinity.It can not be dissolved in ethanol,acetone and carbon disulfide.It has the characteristics of hygroscopicity,and can be changed to clumps,which changes to potassium acid carbonate when it contacts carbon dioxide in the air.
