APPLICATION:  In industrial applications, it is used in high concentrations in products such as engine degreasers, floor cleaners, and car wash detergents.  In lower concentrations, it is used in toothpastes, shampoos, shaving foams, etc.  It is also used in bubble bath formulations for its thickening and lathering effects.
