Rubber dam, also known as rubber water gate, is a bag type water retaining dam formed by using high-strength synthetic fiber fabric as the stress skeleton, coating rubber inside and outside as the protective layer, processing it into adhesive tape, and anchoring it to the bottom plate to form a closed dam bag. It is inflated with water (gas) through the filling and discharging pipeline. The dam crest can overflow and adjust the dam height as needed to control the upstream water level, in order to achieve benefits such as irrigation, power generation, navigation, flood control, and tide blocking.
