Recommendations and Applications:

Insoluble sulfur is mainly used as a senior accelerator and curing agent in rubber industry. 

Compared with the common sulfur, it has the following advantages. 

No blooming of rubberduring the storage period. 

No migration between the adjacent rubber. 

Anti-scorching in the process of mixing and storage. Shorten the curing time. 

Increase bonding between  rubber and material. 

It is widely used to produce tires and other rubber composite products, such as the tire, buffers, 

white tire sidewall, hose, belts. 

It can also be used in cables, roller, oil seal, soles and other rubber products, as well as in light color 

rubber products when sulfur is used in large amount. 

Compare with S-80 , IS-80 imparts good blooming resistance and physical properties of the 

compound and products , with hight viscosity and better processability of the masterbatch.

Pre-dispersed 80% insoluble sulfur in a 20% elastomeric binder

Elastomeric binder can be SBR or EPDM, or others according to customer’s requirements.

Dosage:

Advise the same amount as insoluble sulfur powder in rubber compound, 

generally 0.5~3.0 PHR, increase or decrease the amount accordingly.
