Description:  

Sorbitan monooleate is a kind of straw yellow mucilaginous oily liquid with the smell of fat,which dissolves

in general organic solvent,but not a bit in water.It is an excellent emulsifier,which can work well with Emulsifier sorbitan monostearate,especially with Emulsifier polysorbate 80,and adjust the performance of emulsion. Its HLB is 4.3.

3. Characteristic and Application

A. Used as levelling agent, diffusant and stripping agent in printing and dyeing industry, commonly dosage0.21g/L. Can enhance colouration fastness, color development brilliancy and equality, remove ordure that scattered and concentrated on textile by tincture, improve detergency of ABS-Na synthetic detergent, reduce electrostatic effect of textile.

B. Used as abstergent to remove grease stain on metal surface during processing. Also used as solubilizer

(brightener).

C. Used as emulgator in fiberglass industry, reduce the breakage of fiberglass and eradicate flokkit.

D. Used as O/W emulgator in general industry, excellent property of emulsification to vegetable oil, animal oil, stearic acid, paraffin wax and mineral oil, can be dispensed to very stable latex. Component of filature preparation agent for synthetic fibre such as terylene, etc. component of emulgator for macromole

polymirism.

E. Used as seed soaking penetrant in agriculture to enhance pesticide penetrating power and seed germination rate.

F. A nonionic emulsifier, suitable to obtain O/W cream and lotions,also can be used as stabilizer for skin

care.

G. Excellent emulsify ability, suitable for emulsification of mineral oil(eg: white oil),nature oil, stearyl and etcCan obtain a steady system when used alone.

H. Steady property,can uses in high density electrolytical system.Vegetable based,low irritation.
