Ratchet belt is a fastener used to fix goods during transportation. If used correctly, these belts can support many different weights and cargo sizes. In order to use the ratchet belt correctly, pass the belt through the spindle and turn the ratchet to tighten it. To release the tape, press the release tab and open the ratchet.

Turn the ratchet until it feels secure. Pull the ratchet back and forth to pull the length of the belt and tighten it. Once the tension is felt and fixed around the cargo, stop the ratchet. Pull the belt and check that it is loose – it should feel tight and secure.

Be careful not to over tighten. Excessive pressure may damage the ratchet belt or goods.

If you can't put a finger between the tape and the object, you may be overstretched. Loosen the belt and close it again with the ratchet.
