The working principle of the wind speed sensor is as follows: the sensing element of the wind speed sensor is a three cup rotary frame, and the signal conversion circuit is a Hall switch circuit. Under the action of horizontal wind, the wind cup group rotates and drives the magnetic rod disk to rotate through the main shaft. The 36 magnets on the wind cup group form 18 small magnetic fields. Each revolution of the wind cup group induces 18 pulse signals in the Hall switch circuit, and its frequency increases linearly with the increase of wind speed. The calibration equation is: V=0.1F (V: wind speed, unit: m/s; F: pulse frequency, unit: Hz).

The wind direction and wind speed measuring instrument mainly consists of wind direction and wind speed sensors and data collectors. The wind direction and wind speed sensor converts these two physical quantities into electrical signals. The data collector processes, calculates, stores, and outputs the electrical signals output by the wind direction and wind speed.
