(1) M2 is a molybdenum high speed steel, which has the advantages of low carbide inhomogeneity and high toughness. It is easy to overheat, so the quenching heating temperature should be strictly controlled, and the protection requirement of heat treatment is strict. Because of its hardness and good wear resistance, it is often used in the manufacture of cutting tools for cutting materials that are difficult to cut. M2 high speed steel has a large carbide tendency, so the protection requirement of heat treatment is strict, suitable for bearing vibration and impact load of the mold. Main applications: cold forging die, fine stamping die, powder pressing die, shearing machine die, plastic die with glass fiber, etc.
(2) Suitable for bearing vibration and impact load of the mold: deep drawing mold, punching die. Metal cutting saw blades, cold heading and extrusion tools, etc. M35 cobalt high speed steel is cheaper and easier to process. Through proper heat treatment, high hardness (HRC67 ~ 70), high red hardness (625℃ for 4 hours, HRC63 ~ 65) and high wear resistance can be obtained. Toughness and bending strength are not lower than ordinary high speed steel, which can overcome early damage such as die edge collapse and cracking.
The main characteristic of M35 high speed steel is Co universal cutting tool die steel, quench hardness is 1200-1240C. The main uses are hob, broach, end milling cutter.
(3) Factory status: spheroidizing annealing <225 characteristics and application: this steel is tungsten steel high speed. Suitable for the manufacture of wear-resistant and impact-resistant tools for strong cutting, advanced punching die, screw die, toughness and complex shape tools, reamer, milling cutter, iron head, punch, etc. Forging temperature: 1100-900℃ annealing temperature: heating to 800-850℃, stay at this temperature for 2-4 hours, in the furnace to cool.
