The ultrasonic cleaning tank is similar to a container, containing cleaning solution and the washed parts. In general, the transducer is directly connected (bonded or welded) to the bottom of the cleaning tank, and the cleaning tank is used as an ultrasonic vibration radiation plate. In order to have good corrosion resistance, fatigue resistance, and sound conductivity, cleaning tanks or ultrasonic vibration radiation plates are commonly made of stainless steel.

Ultrasonic transducers are a key component of ultrasonic cleaning devices, and their function is to convert electrical oscillations into elastic mechanical vibrations (ultrasonic vibrations). There are two types of commonly used transducers based on their working principles: magnetostrictive transducers and piezoelectric transducers. From the working frequency, there are high-frequency transducers (usually operating at several hundred KHz) and low-frequency transducers (usually operating at several tens of KHz). In order to achieve high conversion rates, the transducers operate at their natural resonance frequency.
