TEW (Thermoplastic Equipment Wire)

TEW (Thermoplastic Equipment Wire) is a type of equipment wire widely used in Canada for internal wiring of electrical equipment. It is typically rated 600V and insulated with thermoplastic (PVC).

TEW cables in Canada generally comply with CSA C22.2 No. 127 and may also carry UL AWM (Appliance Wiring Material) approvals for North American market applications.
