Vermicompost ("biohumus") is a concentrated organic fertiliser produced by the earthworms. The fertiliser is rich in vital plant nutrients, microelements, enzymes and growth hormones. It contains a high volume of humic substances. Vermicompost is truly unique and completely natural, with its microorganisms ensuring that the soil stays loose, allowing the air to penetrate within. This in turn makes the soil more fertile. Due to its unique properties, Vermicompost allows the moisture to remain in the soil for longer, while at the same time it helps prevent the excess water build up. When processing the soil, the earthworms grind it up and enrich it with microflora. This assists the plants with better fertiliser absorption.
