Placement – The DT01 must be installed at the end point of each Dupline bus segment. It should be placed at the farthest physical node of the network to provide proper electrical termination.
When Termination Is Required – The DT01 becomes necessary when the distance between the channel generator and the cable end exceeds 1.2 kilometers. For installations exceeding 2 kilometers, proper termination becomes critical to prevent signal degradation.
Branched Configurations – In branched cable configurations, additional DT01 units should only be installed when the distance between termination points exceeds 1.2 kilometers, as unnecessary units increase cable capacitance and reduce maximum transmission distance.
Wiring – Connect the DT01 according to the Dupline network diagram, ensuring correct polarity. Use shielded twisted-pair cables to further enhance signal immunity. Avoid routing bus cables parallel to high-power load cables.
