The core striking rivet is a new type of riveting fastener that is very convenient for riveting. The core striking rivet can show its unique advantages in a relatively narrow space or in an environment where there is no riveter or can not use a riveter. Two or more connected parts can be riveted successfully by hitting the nail core on one side with tools such as a hammer. According to the shape of the nail cap brim, the core striking rivets can be divided into flat round head core striking rivets and countersunk head core striking rivets. According to the different material combinations, the core striking rivets can be divided into all aluminum core striking rivets, aluminum steel core striking rivets, all stainless steel core striking rivets, steel core striking rivets, aluminum stainless steel core striking rivets, plastic core striking rivets, etc. The core rivet does not have to use a manual riveter or a pneumatic riveter to rivet like the pop rivet. R type rivet, fan rivet, pop rivet (core striking rivet), tree rivet, half round head, flat head, semi hollow rivet, solid rivet, countersunk rivet, pop rivet and hollow rivet are commonly used. These are usually used to connect the riveted parts by self deformation. Generally, cold riveting is used for those smaller than 8mm, and hot riveting is used for those larger than this size. However, there are exceptions. For example, the nameplate on some locks is riveted by the interference between the rivet and the lock body hole.
