The chilled water from the ice maker's storage tank is continuously circulated through a plate or grid evaporator using a water pump; After the compressor runs, it undergoes suction compression exhaust condensation (liquefaction) throttling and then vaporizes at a low temperature of -10 to -18 degrees Celsius in the evaporator. Frozen water continuously condenses into an ice layer on the surface of the evaporator at a lower temperature of 0 degrees Celsius. When the ice layer condenses to a certain thickness, and the evaporation temperature of the refrigerant reaches the set temperature of the temperature control, the defrosting solenoid valve is connected, and the heat pump is often used to defrost, and then the next cycle is achieved.
The ice maker automatically enters a water storage tank through a makeup water valve, and then the water is pumped through a flow control valve to the diversion head. There, the water is evenly sprayed onto the surface of the ice maker, flowing like a water curtain through the wall of the ice maker. The water is cooled to the freezing point, while the water that has not been evaporated and frozen will flow into the storage tank through a multi hole tank, restarting the cycle work.
