Cofferdam: refers to a temporary enclosure structure built in water conservancy engineering construction to construct permanent water conservancy facilities. Its function is to prevent water and soil from entering the construction site of the building, in order to facilitate drainage within the cofferdam, excavation of foundation pits, and construction of buildings. Generally used in hydraulic structures, cofferdams are usually removed after use, except as part of formal buildings.
