The WG3028 is an industrial-grade desktop 8-channel optical power meter designed for high-throughput, multi-port parallel testing in optical module production, device characterization, and fiber network maintenance. Each channel operates independently across 9 common wavelengths from 850nm to 1625nm—including 1270/1290/1310/1330/1490/1550/1577/1625nm—allowing simultaneous measurement of multiple ports with different wavelength configurations on a single unit. The InGaAs detector delivers 0.1dB accuracy, 0.01dB resolution, and a measurement range of −70 to +10 dBm, with fast refresh rates and a color LCD that displays all channel readings in real time. USB and LAN interfaces support full SCPI program control, enabling seamless integration into automated test platforms and production lines. The WG3028 is particularly suited to 400G/800G optical module testing, optical transceiver tuning, passive component verification, and bidirectional online measurement of EPON/GPON/XGPON networks.
