The WG3004 is a 16-channel multimode variable optical attenuator engineered for high-density parallel attenuation and power balancing in multimode optical module production and device testing. Its 16 independent attenuation channels operate at 850±20nm across a 35dB range, adjustable in 0.1dB steps—bringing a full multimode test fixture into a single chassis without stacking multiple low-channel-count units. Per-channel independent wavelength setting and real-time output power monitoring (−50 to +10dBm) allow each path to be verified and tuned in lockstep, while open-loop mode enables fast fixed-attenuation setting and closed-loop mode locks output power against input drift. 0.01dB output stability, 0.2dB attenuation repeatability, and <2.0dB insertion loss preserve multimode signal integrity across repeated production cycles. USB and LAN interfaces support full program control for ATE integration, and FC/PC (MM 50/125) connectors with a 450×400×90mm / 2kg chassis suit production floors and lab racks.
