The WG1019-MPO is a handheld optical power meter purpose-built for MPO multi-fiber testing, supporting both 12-fiber and 24-fiber MPO connectors without adapters or reconfiguration. It reads every fiber in an MPO trunk in one pass, replacing the fiber-by-fiber re-mating workflow that makes MPO field verification slow and error-prone. Multi-wavelength calibration covers 850/1270/1310/1490/1550/1625nm, with −70dBm sensitivity and an 80dB dynamic range spanning weak-signal sensitivity to high-power input. The 10Hz refresh rate enables fast sequential scanning across all MPO positions, while onboard memory and Mini-USB export preserve test records for as-built documentation and handover packages. An optional VFL (visual fault locator) quickly locates breaks, bad connectors, and bend losses across the entire MPO array—critical for AI cluster and data center cabling acceptance where re-work windows are tight. Battery/USB dual powering and a handheld form factor make it ready for rack-side, floor-box, and field cabinet work.
