Carbon fiber molding

Carbon fiber molding is a process method of making carbon fiber materials into specific shapes and performance products.

The process typically includes the following steps:

Material preparation: Prepare carbon fiber prepreg, which involves pre impregnating carbon fibers into a resin matrix.

Mold design and manufacturing: Design and manufacture high-precision molds based on the shape and size of the required products.

Layering: Lay the carbon fiber prepreg in the mold according to the design requirements to achieve the desired fiber orientation and structure.

Mold closing and heating pressure: Close the mold with the finished layer, and then apply a certain amount of pressure under heating conditions to make the resin matrix flow, infiltrate carbon fibers, and solidify into shape.

Demolding and post-processing: After the product is cured, demolding is carried out and subsequent processing may be carried out, such as trimming, drilling, etc.
